Felling insecure about losing my girlfriend!
I’m 27 and recently relocated to Texas from Wyoming. My girlfriend, 26, is still there. Since she was lonely and depressed after I left, I encouraged her to make new friends. Apparently all her new friends are boys and she goes partying and drinking with them. Their parties often go on till the wee hours of the morning. Yet, when I ask, she says “we are just friends”. Are they really? Is it normal for a girl committed for two years to go out with different men? Will I lose her? I love her. What can I do?

Don’t commit anything .Withdraw from the relationship. Be gentle but also be firm and clear, be less available to her and her calls, if any. Focus on your life and its goals. Without any guilt of breaking up, move ahead positively.

@blacksword, girls love attention. Better call her four or five times a day, send her SMSs, e-mails, e-cards, love letters and greeting cards with mushy messages. Soon she’ll be drooling over you again.

Your girlfriend is young, outgoing and, I guess, attractive as well. If you fell in love with her, so could other guys. Now that you are not there, she’s rediscovering the male species. It was bound to happen. Don’t blame her. What can you do? Pray! On a serious note, visit her on and off to sustain the passion.

Let her do what she wants. Its her life no matter how you dictate things to her if that's what she wants that's what she will do.
