It's one thing to be in an argument with a boyfriend, as you both are guilty of letting the words fly. It's not the nicest thing to do, and there aren't many subjects that are off limits, saying whatever you can that will hurt him the most. However, it's an entirely different thing when he's just being outright disrespectful. Knowing when a boyfriend is being disrespectful can be a little hard to determine for some, and it goes on a person by person basis. He could just be a little bit of a jerk and not really know how heavy his words are. But, really, if it's hurting you, it's a pretty big deal that should be addressed as soon as possible.
